Happy Birthday Dallen!!

On October 8th, 2008 Dallen Scott Bracken decided to grace us with his 7 pound 4 ounce 18 inch presence and lives were forever changed!! Do you remember these...


Dallen has grown so much in one year. At one year old Dallen is saying words like: ball, mama, dada, baby, bye-bye, books, pretzel, please and he will repeat several words after you say them. He knows sign language for milk, cracker, more and invented his own for pretzel :) Dallen takes several steps in a row and has taken as many as 10 steps in a row!! He likes to try and walk on his own and stands alone frequently. Dallen's favorite toys are balls and books. He is a little too addicted to TV and his parents are totally to blame. We love to watch Price is Right together in the mornings and Wheel of Fortune together in the evenings and he watches football every weekend. He is such a good eater. He loves fresh fruits and vegetables, pasta and cereal, but his favorites are pretzels and marshmallows!! Dallen loves to get outside. Unfortunately we don't have a yard for him to play in so he likes to just play in the rocks outside our front door. He is growing by leaps and bounds every day and I cannot beleive how fast the time has gone. We hope that your birthday is as special as you are big D. We love you!! Happy Birthday :)
