*Only getting to wear a new shirt for just a few hours before it gets barfed on
*Having to buy diapers instead of a new dress
*Memorizing ten page cardboard books instead of reading juicy novels
*Cooking 10 minute meals instead of going out for a nice steak dinner
*Watching cartoons instead of good shows
*So many things I haven't learned yet...
{MOTHERHOOD IS…}
*Getting paid in hugs and kisses and smiles
{Recent events have caused me to reflect, yet again, on what motherhood is and how it completely changes your life. The last time I did a post like this one, it was because Dallen was sick and throwing up. Well, on Monday night we experienced yet another long and vomit filled night and again on Thursday night, but this time on my end. I was so miserable all night, but I was just so grateful it was me and not my little boy again. Thankfully, I have such an amazing husband who is such an amazing Father who was able to stay home from work for the day to take care of our little family. From this experience and so many others I have learned that Motherhood is often a trial but always a blessing.}

Amen! I'm sorry you guys have gotten so much sickness lately! Those darn bugs! I hate it when my babies are sick! Hope you all are smiling soon! :)
SoSoSo TRUE! I was just thinking about that the other day...diapers/dress:) haha being a mommy can be a huge trial but love how you said it is a blessing always! You are a good mommy! LOVE you guys!! xoxo
How sweet! Sorry it was you this time, Jackie. Ask your mom some time to tell you about the time (when she was about 6 or 7) she woke me up in the middle of the night and barfed in my face! It was yucky then, but brings a smile to my face as I remember my little girl -- she was so sick!
