Last night Mark and I got to go on a real, actual date!! My sister Aubrey came into town to double with us and we had such a good time. When we heard that a familiar face from high school, Andrew McMahon and his band, Jack's Mannequin were on tour with The Fray and coming to Phoenix we just had to get tickets. The theatre is literally across the street from Mark's work so he picked up tickets, we got Aunt Connie to babysit and Aubrey found a fun date.
The concert was amazing!! I haven't been to a concert since my college days and I almost felt like a kid again. Jack's Mannequin is Andrew's new band (previously Something Corporate) and they have some pretty good songs. Although we really went to see Andrew, The Fray puts on an amazing show!! I was so entertained and so impressed by the talent of the boys in that band. The show went late and we were tired, but stayed for the encore performance and got to hear 3 more songs!! We had so much fun and I hope we can do it again sometime :)
