Shhhh...

Apparently not everyone understands that most people are sleeping between the hours of 2 and 4 AM. When we moved into our condo we were made aware by our landlord that we were moving into a college community and signed a contract saying we knew about the noise factor that accompanied that. Unfortunately we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. When we first moved in there were a few parties every once in a while on weekends and it really wasn't that bad. However, we recently had some new neighbors move in and they are beyond obnoxious!!! How so? In EVERY way. We have heard arguements about football games and cab fares. We have heard fist fights and boxing matches. We've even had a football thrown in our direction. Mark and I go out on our balcony several times a night (not a week, a night) on weeknights, weekends, at ALL hours of the night and early morning to ask them to please be quiet. We try to explain kindly that our little baby is trying to sleep in the nearest window. After several friendly pleas, we have achieved no results. Unfortunately for them our patience is gone and the next time it happens, we are calling the cops!!

We have college guys living behind us, and they are always partying on the weekends. I call the cops constantly on them (I always wait until after 1 am to complain, but they are the noisiest then cause they are good and drunk). You need 2 complaints about noise, but only one for a domestic disturbance (fighting). So if you have 2 phones, both of you can call. It hasn't done us much good, but maybe your neighbors are faster learners than mine.

Yeah, we have a new neighbor too! A 25 year old that parties ALL night and morning long!!! We have been to his house and asked nicely and called the cops - but nothing seems to work...maybe a beebee gun will!!! NOT! :)

So Rude, if our neighbors woke up one of the twins I would turn into the hulk or something:)It takes so much work to get a baby to sleep!! Maybe Bri can come over wearing his POLICE shirt and scare them a little:) We got yo back!!

Before we bought our house I didn't know who was noisier my twins or the neighbors. Now we live between two retired couples and I love it. Someday you'll enjoy the sweet sound of silent neighbors in exchange for Loud children who will keep your baby up.
