My Very Own Interior Designer

I took advantage of my sister while she was in town, to help me get some decorating done. She helped me make this incredible, custom headboard for under $100. I absolutely love it!
We also had to take advantage of some of Mark's cousins and uncles to get our new sofa in our place. When we first picked up the sofa, Mark and his Uncle Paul spent literally 3 hours trying to get it through the front door. It was not happening. So we left the sofa in the garage for the night. The next day, Uncle Paul returned with 3 cousins and his big truck. Yes, these pictures are real, we had to lift the sofa over the balcony and take off the patio doors to get this thing in.

We had the sofa custom made so there was no returning it, we had no choice, and thanks to everyone's hard work we have a gorgeous, comfortable sofa INSIDE our condo!! I'll post more pictures of our place when the decorating is all done. We are waiting on a few more pieces of furniture :)

I LOVE the headboard. I've been wanting to make one for a while now....hmmm maybe I need to give Aubrey a call.

Awesome job people! So glad you got that sofa in and the headboard looks great! Hope you don't have to sell that sofa with the place when you move!!! :)

I'm glad I was the interior designer and not the mover! Your place is looking so cute. :)

Isn't it great living by family again?! Yay for Paul (and his monster truck). That guy can make things happen. The headboard (and bed) look great. Glad you had fun with your sis!
