Puzzle Pieces

Most people tell me that my kids look so similar, definitely brother and sister. I agree. Both are cute in their own ways. They each put together different traits in different ways and created their own little masterpieces. My kids are like my little puzzle pieces...

Dallen...
...has Mommy's face shape, which I got from my Mom. It's hard to tell now but we had the exact same round cheeks as little ones.
...has his Daddy's nose. A Bracken nose.
...got Momma's ears.
...sadly has Daddy's crooked bite.
...no doubt has Daddy's eyes, but their own deep chocolate brown.
...the dark hair is a Messick gene.
...has big huge Messick feet, from my side.
...got the Messick gene for tan skin.
...has dark hair from the Messick side.
...cutest thing ever, has his Daddy's bum and belly button.

Sydney...
...definitely got my nose.
...has interesting hair, she got Gardner curls yet its thin and stringy like mine and dark like a Messick. Although she has short blonde eyelashes from me.
...her ears from Daddy's side, Gardner ears.
...again Daddy's eyes for sure. They are even the same ever-changing hazel color.
...is tall and skinny, just like her Momma.
...sadly, got my flat bum.
...same tan-able skin as me and D.
...has her Mommy's long, skinny piano playing fingers.

I love every unique trait my children have and the way they are put together. Sometimes I wish I could have tons of children so I could see all the different adorable combinations we could make. Heavenly Father sure does a great job putting puzzle pieces together..
