It's been a week and we are still recovering from our playtime with Uncle Scotty vacation!! I can't believe a few weeks ago we were in California soaking up our last moments with Elder Messick before turning him over to the MTC, and boy did we soak it up!!

We had SO much fun playing all over Southern California with (admittedly) Dallen's favorite, "Scotty's my favorite" was constantly heard from little man D. From Angels games to surf sessions, we conquered it all and then headed to Utah, where we soaked up our Scotty time a little more.

Good luck to Elder Messick!! You are in our prayers. my heart goes out to our wonderful missionaries, i have such a deep appreciation for their service. I never knew what an emotional, spiritual, physical and mental sacrifice and service it was til i came here and have witnessed first hand with what they go through with the conversion process. BRAVERY! And i agree with Aunt Alanie....the earlier we impact these amazing children the better and you can just tell Uncle Scotty and Mr. Dallen have a strong connection, what a blessing!! Looks like such a fun time with your brother! Its so nice to have Uncles who are great examples to our little boys! Oh, and I loved your last Mommy/Dallen post! So sweet!
SUCH cute pictures of Dallen and Scotty. We're going to miss that boy! He is going to be one awesome missionary, that's for sure :)
