Do you see what I see?

I had another ultrasound on Thursday and was so pleased for the opportunity to get a glimpse of our little guy. The doctor took a couple pictures during the ultrasound and at first I was so frustrated because he's getting so big its hard to tell what's what. After feeling like a horrible mother (already), the doctor helped me see his little features. Can you see his little face in the first picture? How about his little crossed feet in the one below that? I made some diagrams below that really ruin the pictures but after looking at them, see if it helps decipher the pictures above.
All is well thus far. My amniotic fluid is at the bare minimum, but right now all they can do is keep an eye on it. The good news is that he has a very strong healthy heart beat and all his organs are growing just right. The bad news (for me, at least) is that he is so big and strong he is measuring in the 78th percentile, so he is gonna be a BIG baby!! Yikes :) He looks so uncomfortable but at least that makes 2 of us. Basically the update is, all is well, and we can't wait for the little one to arrive. And, no, we have not decided on a name yet! Harder than it sounds :)

I should go to school to learn how to read these things! I can't tell what anything is either - I can tell that it looks like a bag of marshmellows...And I bet they're cute marshmellows too! We shall see soon.

Great photos, Jacki. I know it takes a practiced eye to decipher the contents, but it's fun trying to put all those "marshmallows" (as your mom called them) together! The little one is growing. Isn't it an amazing experience?

Hey, by the way -- I didn't get a card out to you guys for your Anniversary, so here's a wish that it will be everything you want it to be!

I can see it! I stared at the picure of his face for a really really long time and it finally came to me. I'm still working on the crossed legs one. I'll let you know when I figure it out. Love you baby boy without a name!!!
